About me

Hi! I'm Elodie :D
I'm a pixel artist, game designer, and writer! (I love TTRPGs!)
I've been creating projects in several medians for as long as I can remember. Minecraft maps and skins, game prototypes, comedy videos on YouTube, streaming as a VTuber, or writing TTRPGs and radio sitcoms, I love it all!
I amassed a small following on YouTube during this time, and it was due to this that I ended up going to college for Media Production, Game Development and 3D modelling to expand my talents.I now create more art/photography inspired educational building focused content on a new YouTube channel.I love working in more vibrant and larger-than-life styles, enjoying the more wild side of Minecraft's visuals, whilst pushing the boundaries of what the game can do!

Skin Packs

I have several years of experience creating Minecraft skins, loving the limitations that pixel art gives, and the designing process. What started out as me simply missing the "Skin Pack" formula from the legacy console editions of the game after hopping to Java, turned into a love of creating an array of matching cosmetic skins for myself, my friends, and anyone else who wanted one! And now with Skin Packs back on The Bedrock Edition of the game, my love for them has only grown.I started creating skins as commission work in 2023 on both Fiverr and VGen, developing ideas with clients from reference images and descriptions. I have worked for many clients in the VTubing sphere, translating complex character designs into skins. As well as creating matching skin packs for NPCs and actors in Minecraft Machinima films and series, such as The Sail Archives. In conjunction with skins, I also created custom renders in Blockbench and Mine-imator to display them as additional commission work.

Game Development

I've always had a passion for making things... and a passion for video games, so the logical conclusion was to make my own!I've spent several years as a teenager making prototypes for silly game ideas, mainly focusing on the art direction, writing, and player-first game design. This led me to studying Game Design & Development at college, working to pitch a game prototype to a student body and form a team.My team came together excited to work on my project: Light 'Em Up! A bullet-hell dungeon crawler where the only way to see through the haze of darkness -is to fire blindly into it!The development of a fully playable demo build took around 4 months of dedicated work between 4 developers, with my role being gameplay artist, lead designer, and team manager.
